The main gateway to Tanba Sasayama — six electric-assist bikes at the JR Sasayamaguchi Station East Exit Cycle Port, operated by Cycle Shop Highlander. Unlock through the bLink app. If you need personal assistance, call bLink customer service (Takahashi, 090-8460-0209 — English OK). When registering, allow Bluetooth (Nearby devices) and Location permissions. Bikes must be returned to this station.

Access
JR Sasayamaguchi Station East Exit Cycle Port, Ozawa, Tambasasayama (〒669-2212). Exit the ticket gates and head right; the port is at the bottom of the stairs. About 1 hour from Osaka or Kyoto on the JR Fukuchiyama Line. By car, take the Maizuru-Wakasa Expressway to Tannan-Sasayamaguchi IC. A local bus reaches the castle town in about 15 minutes, or cycle there directly.

- Return your bike at this station only — cross-station returns are not allowed
- Electric assist makes the ride to the castle town and surrounding hills much easier

- From here, the castle town is a pleasant ride or a short bus trip away
