Overview
Two bikes at Familiar — a popular cafe, bar, and guesthouse facing Wakasa Wada Beach. Unlock through the bLink app; you do not need to be a guest. The bikes are at the restaurant entrance beside a spacious BBQ area. Register the app in advance. One account can rent up to five bikes at once. If you need personal assistance, call bLink customer service (Takahashi, 090-8460-0209 — English OK). When registering, allow Bluetooth (Nearby devices) and Location permissions. Operated by the Wakasa Takahama Tourist Bureau.
Pricing
- First 30 minutes — ¥110 (then ¥55 per 15 minutes)
- Up to 4 hours — ¥550 maximum (then ¥55 per 15 minutes)
- Daily maximum — ¥1,100
- Long-term — 2 weeks ¥5,500 / 1 month ¥7,700 (call bLink CS to pay in advance)

Familiar guesthouse & cafe, Wakasa Wada Beach area, Takahama, Fukui. Right in front of Wakasa Wada Beach — about 10 minutes on foot from JR Wakasa-Takahama Station. Bikes at the restaurant entrance. Wakasa Takahama Tourist Bureau — tel. 0770-72-0338 (8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.).
