Wakasa Takahama Bike Share — Hirata Kazaemon

Overview

Two bikes at Minshuku Hirata Kazaemon (民宿平田かざえもん) — a friendly, old-fashioned family-run Japanese inn near Wakasa Wada Beach. The owners grow their own rice and serve dinners with rice harvested from their farm. Bikes are available through the bLink app; no guest stay required. Register in advance. One account can rent up to five bikes at once. If you need personal assistance, call bLink customer service (Takahashi, 090-8460-0209 — English OK). When registering, allow Bluetooth (Nearby devices) and Location permissions. Operated by the Wakasa Takahama Tourist Bureau.

• First 30 minutes — ¥110 (then ¥55 per 15 minutes)
• Up to 4 hours — ¥550 maximum (then ¥55 per 15 minutes)
• Daily maximum — ¥1,100
• Long-term — 2 weeks ¥5,500 / 1 month ¥7,700 (call bLink CS to pay in advance)
